What firm policies cover
Firm policies are the defaults every member inherits — cancellation window, refund rules, chat availability hours, prefered languages, required documents, and compliance notes shown to clients.
Policy templates
- Solo practice — minimal policies, faster to configure, suited to 1-2 lawyers sharing admin.
- Small firm — balanced defaults for 3-10 colegiados. Shared cancellation window, per-lawyer availability.
- Large firm — strict policies, role-based approvals on invites, audit trails. For 10+ lawyers or multi-office practices.
Customizing a template
After picking a template you can override any field. Changes apply to all members on save; lawyers can still adjust per-booking overrides when the policy allows it (e.g. flexible cancellation for a specific client).
What clients see
Your cancellation window, refund rules, and chat availability appear on the firm profile and on every lawyer's booking page. Hidden policies (e.g. internal document requirements) stay internal to the team.
Fee defaults
You can set a default consultation fee range for the firm. Individual lawyers still set their own fee — the firm default is only a suggestion shown during onboarding.
Branding
Upload a logo, choose a primary color, and add a short about-us blurb. Branding appears on the public firm page, in email notifications to clients, and on invoices issued under the firm's CIF/NIF.
