Inviting members
Only owners and admins can invite new members. Open Settings → Firm → Members → Invite. You can send an invite via email or generate a one-time code that another lawyer pastes in their own Settings.
Invitees must already be verified lawyers on LeyApp (colegiado confirmed). Invites expire after 7 days.
Roles inside a firm
- Owner — full control, can transfer ownership, delete the firm, and manage billing. Only one owner per firm.
- Admin — can invite/remove members, edit firm details and policies, but cannot delete the firm or transfer ownership.
- Member — appears in the public firm profile, can set their own availability and handle their own bookings. Cannot change firm-wide settings.
Changing roles
Owners can promote a member to admin or demote an admin to member from the Members list. Transferring ownership requires the current owner to confirm and re-authenticate.
Removing a member
Removing a member from the firm does not delete their LeyApp account or bookings. It only disassociates them from the firm profile. Active bookings stay with the lawyer, not with the firm.
Leaving a firm
Any member can leave a firm from Settings → Firm. If you are the owner, transfer ownership first or delete the firm (only possible with no other members).
One firm at a time
A lawyer can belong to only one firm on LeyApp. This mirrors the Spanish bar rule that associates each colegiado with a single registered practice. To move firms, leave the current one first.
