Claiming a firm
Claim an existing verified firm, join via invite code, or create a new one.

Verify your colegiado number first
Before you can create or join a firm, your individual lawyer profile must be verified. LeyApp checks your colegiado number against the bar association registry. Firm membership inherits that verification — it doesn't replace it.
Create a new firm or join an existing one
From your dashboard, open Settings → Firm. If your firm is not on LeyApp yet, you can create it. If colleagues already have it set up, ask the owner for an invite link or an invite code.
Search before creating
Search by firm name or by another lawyer's colegiado number to avoid duplicates. If the firm exists, request access instead of creating a parallel entry — duplicates make the bar-association side harder to reconcile.
Creating a new firm
Provide the legal name, CIF/NIF, registered address, and the bar association the firm is registered with. The first lawyer who creates a firm becomes its owner automatically and can invite other colegiados afterwards.
Joining via invite code or link
Owners can generate a one-time invite code or share an invite link from the Members tab. Paste the code in Settings → Firm → Join firm, or click the link from any device where you are signed in.
Disputed ownership
If two lawyers claim the same firm, LeyApp holds the claim and asks for proof (CIF/NIF document, bar letter, domain-based email). The first verified claim becomes owner; the other colegiados are invited as members.
