Booking many consultations at once
Create a batch of sponsored bookings for an accepted cohort with one card authorization.

What bulk bookings do
Once beneficiaries in a cohort have accepted their sponsorship, you can book consultations for all of them in one wizard. We pick a lawyer, suggest one slot per beneficiary, and authorize the card once.
Each booking is a separate consultation — the lawyer reviews them individually, but they appear grouped in their inbox so they can approve all at once.
Steps
- Open the cohort and click "Book in bulk".
- Pick the lawyer (we surface your bookmarks first, then language matches).
- Confirm the suggested slots — one per beneficiary across the next two weeks.
- Review the per-beneficiary list and submit.
How we pick lawyers
Your bookmarked lawyers appear first. We then add lawyers who match the cohort's preferred language and have availability in the next 14 days. You always confirm the pick — we never auto-assign.
How payment works
On first bulk submission you save a card on Stripe. Each booking creates an independent authorization (manual capture) — money is only captured when the lawyer accepts each consultation.
If a lawyer declines a booking, that single authorization is voided. The other bookings in the cohort are unaffected.
After submit you'll see per-row outcome: authorized, needs 3DS challenge (one-click resume), or failed (e.g. card declined).
Budget enforcement
Each beneficiary keeps their own per-sponsorship budget cap. The wizard atomically reserves budget per booking — if a row would exceed the cap, we skip it without affecting the rest of the cohort.
