What is the availability calendar?
The availability calendar is your main tool for showing clients when you're free for consultations. It works as a weekly view where you can mark the time slots you accept appointments, Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Only verified lawyers can set their availability. Clients see your available slots when booking a consultation, so keeping them up to date is essential for receiving bookings.
How to access the calendar
From your lawyer dashboard, click 'Availability' in the left sidebar. You can also access it from the 'Manage Availability' card on your main dashboard.
The calendar opens showing the current week. Each column represents a day and each row represents an hour of the day.

Setting your availability
The calendar displays a grid of 7 days × 13 hours (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM). Each cell represents a one-hour time slot.
Highlighted cells with a check mark indicate you're available at that time. Empty cells mean you're not accepting consultations then.
You can configure availability week by week, adapting it to your real schedule. Changes aren't applied automatically — you must click 'Save availability' to confirm them.
Steps to set your schedule
- Navigate to the desired day and time in the weekly grid.
- Click an empty cell to mark it as available (it will become highlighted with a check mark).
- Click a highlighted cell to remove it and mark as unavailable.
- When finished, click the 'Save availability' button to confirm your changes.
Set Up Your Availability
Learn how to set your weekly availability: toggle time slots, use quick actions, and save your changes.
Navigating between weeks
Use the left and right arrows at the top of the calendar to move between weeks. The displayed date indicates the Monday of the current week.
You can set your availability weeks in advance, allowing clients to book future consultations.
Keep your availability updated every week. Lawyers who regularly update their calendar receive more bookings because clients can find times that work for them.
Managing existing slots
If you need to cancel previously set availability, simply click the highlighted cell to unmark it. Remember to save your changes afterward.
For weeks when you can't take consultations (holidays, conferences, etc.), click each marked cell to unmark it, then save your changes.
Quick actions
- Save Availability — Confirm and save all changes made to the current week.
- Week navigation arrows — Move between weeks to set future or review past availability.
- External calendar blocks — If you have connected an external calendar, blocked times appear with a dashed border and a CalendarX icon. These cannot be toggled manually.
How clients see your availability
When a client visits your public profile and requests a consultation, they can only select times you've marked as available. If you have no availability set, clients won't be able to book with you.
Confirmed bookings will appear in your Bookings section. From there you can approve, decline, or propose alternative times.
If you have connected an external calendar via Calendar Sync, blocked times from your external calendar will appear in the availability grid with a dashed border and a CalendarX icon. These blocks cannot be toggled on or off — they are managed entirely by your external calendar. To change them, update the event in Google Calendar or Outlook and trigger a sync.
You can now sync with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. See the Calendar Sync article for setup instructions.
