Invoicing on LeyApp
LeyApp generates Spanish-compliant invoices for every consultation. The lawyer's NIF/CIF is on each invoice; VAT is calculated at the current Spanish rate; sequential numbering follows Agencia Tributaria rules.
You receive a copy by email as soon as the payment is captured; clients receive theirs on the same event. All past invoices are available in Dashboard → Earnings → Invoices.
LeyApp follows the Spanish electronic-invoicing framework and is aligned with Verifactu-ready workflows. Your data stays in the EU (Paris region).
What this means for you
You don't have to generate invoices manually. LeyApp issues them on your behalf with your details — you just declare the income on your quarterly tax return like any other professional income.
What the invoice always includes
- Sequential invoice number respecting Agencia Tributaria rules.
- Your NIF/CIF, legal name, and registered address.
- The client's billing details (name, address, and NIF if provided).
- IVA breakdown and the consultation fee net of platform commission.
Keeping your NIF up to date
Update your NIF/CIF and billing address any time in Settings → Account → Tax information. Existing invoices are not retroactively changed — only invoices issued after the update use the new details.
If you change your registered bar association, update it in Settings → Lawyer profile so the new address appears on future invoices.
Accessing your invoices
Dashboard → Earnings → Invoices lists every invoice. You can download individual PDFs or export a CSV of the current quarter for your accountant.
Invoice contents
- Unique invoice number and issue date.
- Lawyer details (name, NIF/CIF, address, bar association).
- Client details (name, NIF if provided, billing address).
- Service description, base amount, IVA, and total.
- LeyApp platform commission line (deducted before payout).
If a booking is refunded, a credit note is generated automatically with the same sequential numbering. You do not need to issue the credit yourself.
Declaring the income
You declare the income on your quarterly Modelo 303 (IVA) and annual Modelo 390 like any other professional fee. LeyApp provides the totals and breakdown needed for both forms in the Earnings export.
