Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
By using LeyApp (leyapp.es), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Service Description
In plain English: We connect you with qualified lawyers, but we are not a law firm ourselves.
LeyApp is a marketplace connecting clients with verified immigration lawyers. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Lawyers on the platform are independent professionals.

2. User Accounts
You must provide truthful information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining your account security. LeyApp reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
3. Lawyer Obligations
Lawyers must be registered with a bar association and hold a valid licence in Spain. They must keep their information up to date and comply with the code of ethics and EGAE 2021.
4. Bookings and Payments
Bookings are confirmed upon payment. The lawyer sets their own reservation fee. All prices shown to clients already include the 15% platform fee and 21% IVA — what you see is what you pay. The full breakdown is shown on your receipt. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.
5. Consumer Rights
As a consumer in the European Union, you are entitled to the protections set out in Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and the Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007). These include the right to clear pre-contractual information, transparent pricing, and the right of withdrawal described below.
6. Right of Withdrawal
In plain English: You have 14 days to change your mind and get a refund, UNLESS you book a consultation that happens before those 14 days are up. In that case, you give up this right so the lawyer can do their job.
You have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason (Art. 71 TRLGDCU). However, pursuant to Article 103(a) TRLGDCU, if you request that the provision of the service begins before the withdrawal period expires — for example, by booking a consultation within the next 14 days — you expressly acknowledge and consent that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Before confirming your booking, you will be asked to expressly waive your right of withdrawal for services that begin before the 14-day period ends.

7. Limitation of Liability
In plain English: We are an intermediary. We are responsible for the platform working, but not for the specific legal advice the lawyer gives you.
LeyApp acts as an intermediary. We are not responsible for the quality of legal advice or disputes between clients and lawyers. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
